Thermal paper can be categorized into seven types depending on the application.
Type 1:POS Thermal Paper
POS is one of the main methods of payment in modern commerce. Applications include shopping malls, supermarkets, convenience stores, gas stations, etc., and the demand for POS thermalpaper has subsequently become very high. 57mm*30mm(2 1/4" X 50'): This is the most common POS size, suitable for most POS machines, cash registers.
57mm*40mm(2 1/4" X 60'):This size is a little bit longer than 57mm*30mm, it will last longer and the average price per meter is cheaper.
80mm*60mm(3 1/8" X 180'):This size is bigger than the previous two, suitable for POS machines that need to print complex contents such as tables or pictures.
Type 2:FAX Thermal Paper
FAX thermal paper is mainly used in thermal fax machines. Its main sizes include

Type 4:Computer Form Thermal Paper
Computer Form Thermal Paper is a kind of thermal paper used in pin-type printers. It consists of top paper, middle paper and bottom paper, and the common specifications are 241mm and 381mm in width. computer printer paper can be divided into two kinds of perforated and non-perforated, and also can be divided into single-layer and multi-layer. Type 5:NCR Thermal Paper
NCR is the abbreviation of No Carbon Required, NCR Thermal Paper is a new kind of copy paper, which does not need a copy layer to copy. It can be differentiated according to rools and sheets, the width of rools can be from 160mm to 1940mm, and the width of sheets can be from 420mm to 530mm. NCR Thermal Paper can be used to copy 2 to 6 pages, and it can be preserved for more than 15 years, which can improve our working efficiency.
Type 6:Thermal Label
Thermal Label is a layer of adhesive added to the back of Thermal paper, which is convenient for us to stick it on other objects, mainly used in supermarket price labels, shipping labels and so on.
